Section 4 Supporting Documents
This section of your manual is where you will store various documents that you have collected or forms that you have completed. This allows you to have all of your materials in one location when the audit takes place. It saves time for the auditor while saving you $$$ for the cost of the audit. Since many of our auditors have worked through this format, they know exactly where to locate items required during the audit.
We keep it simple. Section 4 consists of a series of sheet protectors labeled with numbers and what items goes into the specific protector. The master list of numbers and items is listed here. Remember, you only need to include the ones that apply to the specific audit that you are doing. These items apply to a basic audit all the way to the harmonized audit with global market addendum. Use what you need to set up your manual and pass on the rest.
